Long live DIY!

Pre-sown
These cut flowers do not have to be pre-planted indoors, but if you think it's fun and want to see them grow, it will only make the plant stronger before it is planted outdoors.
If you want to pre-plant, do it about 4-8 weeks before the last frost. In Skåne, the last frost should occur no later than March 1st.
Fill pots with soil almost to the top. Space the seeds thinly in the pots and top up with soil so that you can no longer see the seeds. Make sure to keep the soil moist.
Planting
When it's time to plant the flowers, it should be done in a sunny spot. Dig up all the grass and other weeds and fill in the planting soil with regular soil. You can also fertilize a little before planting the plants...and now you have your planting bed!
Make sure to bury the plants about 10-30cm apart so that the flowers have to grow large and they don't shade each other too much.
Now all you have to do is water, fertilize every four weeks and watch them sprout!

Pick flowers
and tie a bouquet
This seed mix is made up of different flowers that bloom at different times throughout the summer. Don't be afraid to pick the flowers. The flower's greatest desire is to set seed, so new flowers will come if you pick the existing ones.
Tips for making a beautiful bouquet:
1. Mix fresh textures, shapes and sizes to make the bouquet varied and vibrant.
2. For a wilder impression, you can let one flower, twig or leaf stand out a little more than the others.
3. Fill in the bouquet with other things. You can add green leaves, dried flowers and ornamental grasses.
It's all about what you like the most!
Dry the flowers
There are several ways to dry your bouquet.
1. Easiest way: Spray the bouquet with hairspray and hang it upside down in a dark, well-ventilated room and wait
2. Slightly more difficult method: Open the bouquet, trim away the green leaves, and hang the flowers individually upside down after spraying them. Then assemble the bouquet when all parts are completely dry. This method eliminates the risk of some flowers getting squashed and losing their shape.
3. Buy scilica gel. Cut off the stem and place in an airtight jar with scilica gel. Then cover the rest of the flower in more gel and seal. This method preserves the color of the flower much, much better. One tip is to take the bouquet apart and dry most of the bouquet by hanging it up and only dry the most beautiful flowers in scilica gel. The buds can then be attached to green sticks that will not be visible when you tie the bouquet back together.
